Purpose

To strengthen and stabilize low back.

Steps

  1. Begin by lying on your back with knees bent and feet together on the floor. Extend your arms out to steady yourself.
  2. Keeping your shoulders on the floor as much as possible, slowly roll your knees to the right until you feel a gentle stretch in your back.
  3. Hold for 10 seconds.
  4. Slowly roll your knees to the opposite side of your body.
  5. Hold for 10 seconds.

Tips

  • Be sure to keep your back flat on the floor as you alternate from side to side.
